This is my seventh year teaching at FHJHS. I am currently teaching 8th grade history, and creative writing.  I am also the 8th grade girls volleyball coach.  I began my time with the Flora School District in 2013 as a substitute teacher and the 7th grade girls volleyball coach.  The following year, I taught RtI and Title 1 at the Jr. High.  In 2015 I began my time as a regular classroom teacher.  I am so glad to share my passion for history and love of learning with the FHJHS students! 

I am a 2007 FHS graduate and am proud to call Flora my hometown.  During my time as a student in the Flora School District, I was involved in Softball and Volleyball and found a love for history.  I received my secondary teacher certification from Eastern Illinois University with a major in History.  I am very excited to be a member of my hometown school district and to contribute to the community that I grew up in.
