For this short research project, students will be given all information needed to come to their own conclusion about Christopher Columbus's claim to fame.  The project will be kept in the room only.    They will analyze 6 primary and secondary sources to come to their own conclusion about Columbus.  Along the way, students will answer questions about their texts as well as provide their reasoning for concluding their belief that  Christopher Columbus was either a hero or a villian.
