Students will listen to a Flocabulary rap as a class and fill in the blanks when needed. The students will then complete questions about the subject of the rap on their worksheets. Students will have plenty of class time to complete their work. Any unfinished class work needs to be completed as homework.
IN CLASS we will be working through a power point presentation that includes guided note taking. Students will fill in blanks as we work through the power point and discuss our topic. There will be an OPEN NOTE quiz on Thursday over chapter 1.

On many fridays, we will view CNN student news as a class to allow the students time to reflect on current events. We will often fill out a worksheet asking basic questions about the news they have viewed. We will also hold open discussions abou their views on current events happening in the world.
