Mr. Countryman's Classroom Expectations and Grade Policy

1. Supplies needed for class every day include textbook, pencils, notebook paper and binder.

2. Students will remain in the classroom until given permission to leave.  In the event of a student leaving class without permission a detention will be issued.

3. Assignments will be considered late when not handed in on the day it is due.  20% will be deducted from the assignment for up to a week after it has been assigned.  After that week has passed, the assignment will be counted as a ZERO in the grade book.

4. Students that have an excused absence from school will be given 2 days to complete each assignment.  After the two-day grace period, the late grade policy will be applied.

5. Students will do their own work.  Any student found cheating on a test or assignment will receive a zero, unless eligible for a 24 hour extension to redo for a maximum grade of 70% D.  The opportunity to make corrections will not apply in this case.
