English IV - This class reads selections from different time periods and genres of British Literature. English IV also emphasizes writing with responses to literature selections and a formal research paper. If eligible, students can receive 3 semester hours of dual credit for English IV.
English IV Honors - This class is designed for students who love to read and discuss literature! Like English IV, the honors section will read selections from British Literature and complete a research paper. This class moves at a faster pace than regular English IV and requires more independent work from the students. If eligible, students can receive 6 semester hours of dual credit (3 per semester) for English IV Honors.
English IV Tech. - Students in this class will focus on basic reading and writing skills necessary for the work place. Placement in this class requires teacher and administrator approval.
Senior Seminar - This class assists seniors with the college selection, application, and admission process. During the fall semester, students will research colleges, complete application forms, and visit multiple campuses. In the spring semester, focus turns to college scholarships and workplace skills such as resumes, job applications, and mock interviews.
