p>Welcome to my home page.  I am a 1995 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art.  Following a few years after my graduation, I returned to USI to obtain my teacher's certificate and eventually received an endorsement in Special Education.  I have been teaching in the Flora School District since 2008.  During those years, I have taught Art and Special Education at Lincoln, Xenia, Washington, and McEndree Schools.  I am currently at the Flora High School and Floyd Henson Junior High School where I continue to teach Art.

 

I have been married to Vance Sloan since 2004, and we have two daughters, Jayden and Mya.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside.  I also enjoy drawing, painting, singing, reading, and exercising.    Furthermore, I am very thankful to have the opportunity to do what I love, teach!
