Scholarship Selection Process

1. Student submits scholarship application to the guidance office

2. The guidance counselor compiles qualifications of each applicant

3. The FAF Scholarship Selection Committe meets with the guidance counselor

a. Committee receives a list (names are not given/numbers are used in place of names) of applicants' qualifications for various scholarships.

b. Selections are made and names are announced after the selections have been determined

c. If various scholarships call for family/business/industry approval, thenames will be forwarded to those groups for acceptance or reconsideration.

4. Some scholarships go directly to the endowing organization for selection
